Eclipse 1100 HR Elliptical Trainer

With all the features that the Eclipse 1100 has, you'd think itt would be a better elliptical trainer, that is until you get on and ride one.

The major flaw with the Eclipse 1100 is the almost non-existant stride lenth of 9".

The stride length is so small and so awkward, you hardly feel like your legs are moving, it's more like you're just bouncing up and down like a bouy in the waves...

Eclipse 1100 HR Elliptical Key Specs and Benefits:

  • Magnetic resistance with eight resistance levels
  • Orbital Linkage System provides a smooth, elliptical pattern
  • LCD display features scan, speed, distance, time, odometer and approximate calories burned and thumb pulse
  • Built-in hand pulse sensors for immediate heart-rate reading
  • 6 programs (3 speed and 3 resistance)
  • Linked upper body arms for a total-body workout
    Forward and reverse motion
  • Solid steel construction

If you're on a tight budget and want to get an elliptical trainer, the Eclipse 1100 is a bad choice, for the same money (or cheaper) checkout the Weslo 745, the Proform 700 or Proform 900 ellipticals...
