Nordictrack CX 938 Elliptical is the budget offering from
Nordictrack and rests below the Nordictrack
998 Elliptical and the Nordictrack
CX 1055 Elliptical (for a similar model to the CX 938
checkout the Reebok
525 Elliptical which is the sister model and is similar
in most ways.
The
CX 938 elliptical has a lot of features that are appealing,
especially if you're on a limited budget. You get 10 built-in
programs, 18" stride length, and iFit compatibility.
That's a pretty nice package, but...
On
the downside, the magnetic resistance is SMR (instead of
the smoother more accurate Eddy Current) which is common
in elliptical trainers in this price range...

I stated earlier, the Nordictrack CX 938 is almost
identical to the Reebok
525 in almost every respect, although the Nordictrack
938 includes a couple of extras like the Training Zone Indicator,
Carb Counter and 2 extra built-in workout programs.
The
extras you get with the CX 938 (training zone, carb counter
and 2 extra workouts) that you don't get with the Reebok
525 Elliptical give the slight edge to the Nordictrack and
should bump the Reebok off your shopping list.
