Nordic
Track CX 998 Elliptical Review
The
Nordictrack CX 998 Elliptical is the mid level offering
from Nordictrack and falls between the Nordictrack 938 Elliptical
and the Nordictrack
CX 1055 Elliptical (for a similar model checkout the
Reebok
645 Elliptical which is the sister model to the CX 998
and is similar in most ways.
The
strength of the Nordictrack CX 998 is the amount of options
that are packed into a relatively small price tag (for my
pick in this price range see the Proform
1280 Elliptical that's a better value).
For
starters, the CX 998 offers a one touch incline ramp, silent
magnetic resistance and 10 workout programs that let you
hit the ground running.

Like
I stated earlier, the Nordictrack CX 998 is almost
identical to the Reebok 645 in almost every respect, although
the Nordictrack throws in a couple of extras like the Training
Zone Indicator, Carb Counter and 2 extra built-in workout
programs.
My
personal opinion is that the extras you get with the CX
998 (training zone, carb counter and 2 extra workouts) that
you don't get with the Reebok 645 Elliptical give the slight
edge to the Nordictrack and should bump the Reebok off your
shopping list.
