Sole
E55 Elliptical Trainer
The
Sole E55 Elliptical is the next step up from the
Sole
E35 in the Sole family that includes the Sole
E25 and the Sole
E95 in ascending order of cost and features.
If
you've read many of my reviews, you might start to notice
a pattern on what I recommend from each manufacturer.
That
pattern holds true for the Sole elliptical trainers. While
I really like the Sole E35 and feel it's a better value
than the Sole E25, I have similar feelings about the Sole
E55 elliptical trainer when I compare it to the Sole E95
and similar competing models on the market.
I'm
not here to tell you that the Sole E55 isn't a good elliptical
machine, it's just that for the extra money you'll need
to fork over to buy this machine instead of the Sole E35,
there just isn't a compelling reason to do so.
Sole
E55 Elliptical Trainer Key Stats and Specs:
-
Eddy Current Magnetic Break System
- 2
degree inward slope of foot pedals reduces ankle and knee
stress
-
16 levels of resistance
-
30 lb. flywheel and a high gear ratio
- Heart
rate chest strap
- Wireless
heart rate control workouts
- 350
pound user weight capacity
The
only improvements the Sole E55 elliptical offers
over the Sole E35 are a higher user weight capacity (350
pounds), a couple of extra workouts and heart rate auto
pilot control (I guess I could see my way clear to recommend
this elliptical based on the heart rate auto pilot if your
budget is maxed out already and you can't see your way clear
to get the Sole
E95 elliptical).
Beyond
what I've listed above, the Sole E55 elliptical and Sole
E35 elliptical trainer are identical in every respect -
same flywheel, same stride length, same resistance, same
eddy current breaking system etc.
I
like the Sole E55 elliptical ,but feel the Sole
E35 and Sole
E95 are better values for the money...
