Weslo 745 Elliptical Trainer

The Weslo 745 Elliptical Trainer is a fairly unremarkable elliptical trainer. But that's what you should expect from a machine costing under $300 dollars, but it is about as good a machine as you'll find on a small budget.

When you're shopping for an elliptical trainer in the under $250 price range, you're not going to get a lot of bells and whistles, and the first thing that suffers is the resistance (which is the crux of a good workout).

With the Weslo (and other budget ellipticals) you'll have to make due with manual resistance that isn't a good option and may leave you wishing you invested another $75-100 on a better machine...

Weslo 745 Elliptical Key Specs and Benefits:

  • Adjustable Resistance
  • Oversized Pedals
  • 18'' Stride Length
  • Large LCD Display
  • 4 Personal Trainer Programs
  • Easy Pulse Heart Rate Monitor

Even after bashing this elliptical earlier, I do recommend it - but let it be known I do have reservations about my decision.

I, Personally, wouldn't even consider getting a bargain basement elliptical trainer (or treadmill, exercise bike or home gym for that matter).

When manufacturers cut pricing this low to attract customers, they have to cut corners in build quality and component durability...
