Diamondback 300 Recumbent Bike

The Diamondback 300 recumbent bike is built by one of the biggest names in street bikes. But a name is not always a good reason to buy something without doing your homework.

The Diamondback 300 is not a bad bike, but it seems that Diamondback forgot about some of the basic features that people want. Especially if they are going to be spending in the neighborhood of $600 for an exercise bike.

The Diamondback 300 recumbent does not come standard with:

  • heart rate control
  • built in workout programs
  • or magnetic resistance

That's most of the features you'd expect for over $500.

Diamondback does redeem itself in build quality. You're going to be hard pressed finding a tougher more well built exercise bike by any manufacturer than Diamondback. They have the experience and proven track record of building some of the best road bikes in the industry for over 20 years.

If you're looking for an exercise bike in this price range, you can do better for yourself than the Diamondback 300 Recumbent . Take a look at the Edge 491 Recumbent, Proform 970 crosstrainer and the Reebok CYC12 recumbent and decide for yourself.
