Bowflex
Extreme 2 Review
The
Bowflex Extreme 2 Gym is the second generation of
the Extreme and falls into the middle price range of the
Bowflex gym lineup between the Revolution
and Ultimate
2 on the top end, and the Sport
and Motivator on the low end.
The
Bowflex Extreme 2 is a nice compromise between the super
high end Bowflex's and the low end machines and has many
of the features that you need in a gym, including the ability
to do full squats (may be tricky for beginners though).
I
really like the way the 4 position adjustable pulleys allow
for more freedom of exercise choice and it's super easy
to find a comfortable position for each exercise as the
seat also moves up and down and even completely removes
if needed for leg exercises.
The
lat tower, leg developer (leg extensions and leg curls)
and pulleys can be used without ever needing to change a
single cable so it's easy to move from one exercise to the
next without any hassles.
One
of the biggest appeals of the Bowflex
Extreme 2 has to be the compact size. This gym will
fit about any size room in your home with feet to spare
on each side (unlike the Ultimate 2 and Sport and Motivator).
