Bowflex
Sport Review
The
Bowflex Sport Gym is on the bottom of the Bowflex
gym lineup and just a step above the Bowflex
Motivator...
At
first glance, you may think that the Bowflex Sport, and
the Bowflex Motivator are identical gyms.
They
do look very similar, and are - except in two key areas
that could be the deciding factor of whether or not you
should get one.
The
two upgrades that the Sport offers over the Motivator are
the built in lower cables that allow you to actually do
squats and 10 other exercises, and the adjustable incline
bench which makes hitting your upper chest and doing incline
curls much easier and more effective.
The
extra two features on the Bowflex
Sport push up the price by 100 dollars, but I think
it's a good investment considering all the additional functionality
they provide.

I
almost forgot to mention the biggest benefit of getting
the Bowflex Sport over the Motivator...
The
Bowflex Sport allows you to upgrade the resistance from
the standard 210 pounds up to 310, or even 410 pounds!...
if you have a Bowflex
Motivator, you're going to be locked-in to the 210 pounds
with no chance of upgrading unless you sell the machine
and buy another one.
The
Bowflex Sport is a good alternative to higher priced gyms
and may fit the bill if you have a rather small budget but
don't want to sacrifice getting a gym with a good track
record and strong company behind it
