Total
Gym 1500
The
hands down best value in the Total Gym line is the
Total Gym 1500.
It's
a bit more expensive than the Toal Gym 1000, but hundreds
of dollars cheaper than all of the other Total Gyms.
So
why do I like the Toal Gym 1500? Good question, let's
take a look closer look at this gym and I'll give you the
details.
The
Total Gym 1500 is the second to lowest Total Gym
in price. The only Total Gym cheaper is the 1000 (it sells
for about $160 bucks).
The
two big advantages the Total Gym 1500 has over the Total
Gym 1000, is that the 1500 has better handles (steel vs.
plastic) and a heavier duty framing structure.
I'll
admit that it sounds like a big price difference between
the 1500 and the 1000 for only two upgrades, but
believe me they are well worth the extra cost.
On
the Total Gym, the handles will get tone of use becuase
they're your interface with the gym. And the heavier duty
frame speaks for itself. I think that you're going to really
like using the Total Gym, so you may as well get one that
will last you longer.
If
you're wondering why I recommend the Total Gym 1500
and not the more expensive total gyms like the 2000, 3000
or 1100, I think the Total Gym 1500 will do about everything
that the average trainer wants, and it has room to grow
as you can always get add on attachments to expand the capabilities
of your gym.
I don't think spending a bunch of extra money on one of
the high end Total Gyms gets you that much more for the
money. I'll let you make your own call on that.
One
last point I almost forgot. The Total Gym 1500 comes
with a 1 year warranty and risk free 30 day trial offer.
That's a pretty good deal in a home gym in this price range.
