Weider Flex Gym 2000

I'm not recommending the Weider Flex Gym 2000.

Maybe I'm too accustomed to free weights, but after trying this home gym, I think you should look elsewhere.

For starters the resistance only goes to 108 pounds. That just won't cut it for most people. The Weider Flex Gym 2000 will be a gym you'll quickly outgrow and have to replace in less than a year.

As a general rule, I don't recommend any home gyms under the $300 price point (the Total Gym 1500 being the exception to the rule).

When you're strapped for cash, and looking for a home gym, I think the smart move is to get yourself a good adjustable weight bench and adjustable dumbells or check out my Total Gym 1500 review for comparison.

If you can expand your budget a little, also check out the Bandflex Gym. It's far superior to the Flex Gym and is only another $80 bucks or so.
