Nordictrack
has been making fitness equipment for over 30 years and they're
still going strong today making elliptical trainers, treadmills
and even a small number of home gyms.
The
original Nordictrack ski machine was a oddity and somewhat of
a novelty when it was first introduced to the market as an exercise
machine (predating elliptical trainers).
Modern
day Nordictrack elliptical trainers (and all other manufacturers
for that matter) owe a debt of gratitude to the that ground
breaking ski machine.
Nordictrack
grew its' roots as a company in the great white north of Minnesota
(hence the name) and today the company is a subsidiary of the
Icon Fitness brand along with the likes of Proform, Weider,
Reebok, Weslo, Healthrider, Sole and others.
