Powertec
home gyms have been on the market awhile, but I think it took
the majority of the mainstream to finally catch on that the
Powertec fitness equipment (the home gyms like the leverage
and workbench gyms) were NOT just for the hardcore bodybuilding
crowd (but they do work well for this purpose).
The
story behind Powertec Fitness and the Powertec Home Gym line
is the same old American tale of, "You know what, I can
make a better product than the company I work for"...so
they did.
The
'leverage' design of the Powertec fitness equipment was revolutionary
when it was introduced in the late 1990's, and not as well received
as the creators of the equipment had hoped...but word soon spread
and the sales started to take off - and they knew they had made
it when the 'big boys' started copying their designs.
