Crosswalk Treadmill Reviews
(spacesaver, caliber, 400e, CR, GTS)
Proform
has a wide variety of Crosswalk Treadmills for the budget
minded shopper who does not plan on running.
The
Proform Crosswalk treadmill comes in the following flavors,
each with its' own set of features, warranty and target
market:
Proform
Crosswalk Spacesaver Treadmill
The spacesaver is sold through shopping networks and on
TV late at night. The appeal of the spacesaver is the low
price and the ability to fold, beyond that, there is no
reason this treadmill would be worth considering.
An
under powered motor and small running surface leave a lot
to be desired and are a real deal killer.
Proform
Crosswalk Caliber Treadmill
The Proform Caliber Treadmill is a nicer machine than the
Spacesaver and adds some upgraded features like walking
handles, higher 300 pound user weight limit and a 17"
x 53" treadbelt.
The
motor warranty is also similar to the other crosswalk treadmills
at 10 years, but the parts and labor warranty is only 90
days which isn't that great.
Proform
Crosswalk 400e Treadmill
The Proform Crosswalk 400e is sold by Proform through Sears
and is intended to be a very entry level treadmill to say
the least.
Although
it looks like a good deal with the low price, you just can't
make a good treadmill for under $500, I don't care what
the specs say, you have to cut too many corners to get the
price that low.
Proform
Crosswalk CR Treadmill
The Proform Crosswalk CR Treadmill is a large step up the
pricing ladder from the 400e reviewed above, and I don't
think it's worth the money.
The
Proform Crosswalk CR has an under powered motor, and a small
treadbelt of only 18" x 50". There are bargains
to be had in the under $700 treadmill market, but the Crosswalk
CR is not one of them.
