Reebok
RX5000 Treadmill
The
Reebok RX 5000 treadmill sits atop of the Reebok
line.
Like
the Reebok RX 4000 treadmill, the RX 5000 has a huge
20" x 60" deck with a blazing 12 m.p.h. deck speed,
EKG grip pulse heart rate monitor, power incline, iFit technology
and folding deck.
The
upgrade to the Reebok RX 5000 Treadmill gets you
an improved more powerful 3.0 horsepower motor (2.5 horsepower
in the RX 4000), EKG2 grip pulse sensor to monitor your
heart rate, an added 50 pounds of user weight limit (300
LB max), and quick speed deck technology similar
to the deck on the Reebok RX 2000.
It
seems to me that the extra $100 dollars in price over the
Reebok RX 4000 is well worth the investment.
The
Reebok RX 5000 Treadmill is definitely a treadmill
that you can grow with as your fitness level improves, and
it shouldn't need much in the way of service with the large
3.0 horsepower motor and high build quality.
My
pick for treadmills in this price range goes to the Smooth
7.1. You can see my full review here.
***Reebok
has been shuffling around their treadmill models recently.
The RX2000 has been discontinued. There are now 4 Reebok
treadmills, 2 lower end machines worth considering are the
Reebok
C3500 and the RX6200,
both are available for around $800.
